Join us as we paddle to the confluence of the Ocmulgee and Oconee rivers where the Altamaha is born!
The Ocmulgee Water Trail Partnership is sponsoring its 7th annual paddle event on Saturday, June 8, 2024. “Paddle the Forks II” will put-in at the Lumber City Landing on Hwy 341 in Lumber City, Georgia and take out at Towns Bluff Landing in Hazelhurst, Georgia. This paddle is expected to take at least six hours depending upon river flow.
- Registration opens at 7:30 AM at the Lumber City Landing. A shuttle (included) will depart at 9:00 AM from the take-out at Towns Bluff Landing, 45 Riverwood Trail, Hazelhurst, Georgia.
- Children 12 and under are FREE with paid adult registration (one child per paid adult ticket).
- T-shirts are included with PAID tickets. Sizes are not guaranteed for tickets purchased after May 21st.
- Boat rental IS NOT included in the ticket price.
- ACA Insurance forms, and photo waivers must be completed for each paddler at registration. We will use your registration information to pre-populate these forms as much as possible.
- Remember to bring – and wear – your Personal Floatation Devices. Insurance requires that PFDs be worn.
